Description

We’re looking for a UI / UX Designer to join our growing Design team and take our software’s user experience to the next level. You will be part of a cross-functional, Agile team, using the latest and greatest technologies and tools to build new features from (start to finish!), as well as supporting and improving existing features. What you’ll do:

 

  • Work closely with the Product Management team to comprehensively learn and understand users pain points
  • Collect data, feedback and ideas from stakeholders and translate into user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mock layouts
  • Collaborate with the Product Management and Development teams to ensure designs appropriately address user stories from product roadmap and technical feasibility
  • Plan and conduct user research and usability testing
  • Continuously iterate and improve upon designs based on a combination of user testing data and qualitative feedback
  • Determine information architecture and write compelling, user-friendly copy that guides the user
  • Use design thinking and a user centered approach to find creative ways to solve UX problems
  • Create graphical designs and illustrations

 

 

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • A stunning portfolio of web and mobile user experiences with descriptions of your thought process, role and execution
  • 3+ years of web and mobile application UI / UX design experience (bonus points for B2B and/or commercial SaaS experience!)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Expert skill level in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, XD and Illustrator) and experience using wireframe prototyping tools
  • Expert knowledge of creative / design best practices, tools and processes for developing user journeys, taskflows and wireframes for web and mobile applications
  • “Comfortability with the uncomfortable,” flexibility, adaptability and general creativity in thinking and working styles, while still upholding strategic vision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and project management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A proven aptitude for translating project needs and brand characteristics into an authentic interface solutionExperience in information architecture, interaction strategy, customer research, and software development
  • You have your finger on the pulse of the design world – you eat, sleep, and breathe what’s trending
  • A passion for software, modern technologies, innovation, continuous improvement, and self-development
