Description

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle bookkeeping duties for the clients' accounts assigned to you, including but not limited to: entering invoices and bills, bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Preparation of payroll remittances, ROEs
  • Preparation of HST remittances
  • Tax filings (HST, WSIB, T4, T5, installments)
  • Preparation of month-end reports
  • Answering support questions from clients related to bookkeeping and payroll matters
Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting with at least two years' bookkeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of standard accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Word and Excel are required
  • Must possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under deadlines
  • Solid communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate in a professional manner
  • Well-organized, positive attitude, works well under pressure and is a proactive team player
